    The Lent course Inspired to Follow: Art and The Bible will run each Monday during March (2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th).

    This fascinating course studies a painting from the National Gallery, with a short recorded reflection by clergy from St. Martin-in-the-Fields and a chance to share your own thoughts. Each session is one hour long and there is no charge. The sessions begin with refreshments at 7.30pm.

    Each session stands alone so please do come along to any or all.

    Holy Cross, Durley

    Home-made soup, bread and cheese lunch. No charge but donations invited for Bishop’s Lent Appeal, raising money for charities protecting the environment.

  • World Day of Prayer

    Friday 6th March at 7.30pm

    Service in United Reformed Church in the centre of Hedge End.

    This Service is run by Churches together in Hedge End and Botley as part of the World Day of Prayer.  The idea of  World Day of Prayer is that identical services take place in the same 24 hour period throughout the world. The theme for this year’s service is “Rise! Take your mat and walk.”

  • Good Friday

    Friday 10th April at 8.00am

    8am: All Saints’ Church, Botley
    Meditation and communion service.

    10am: All Saint’s Botley
    The Good Friday Parish walk will begin at 10am at All Saints’ Botley with a short service and from there we will walk to St. Peter’s, Curdridge, stopping along the way for bible readings. We have a short service at St. Peter’s then on towards Durley, pausing for more readings from the story of Good Friday.

    We will stop in the memorial hall in Durley for a picnic lunch if you have brought one, and a hot cross bun, then on to Holy Cross for a final service:

    1.30pm: Holy Cross, Durley

    This is a tremendous community event and is for everyone, whether they come to church or not. Dogs and children are welcome.
    Invite your friends and family.

    For those who do not wish to walk there is a meditation at Holy Cross at 11.45am and you will be most welcome to meet us at the Memorial Hall for lunch.
