Remembrance Sunday

This year is the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the end of the 1st world war which brings special significance to our annual Remembrance Day services. This year we have 4 services, one at each church starting at 10.50am and also one at Durley School starting at 10.45am. In Botley there will be a procession of uniformed organisations leaving the Dolphin carpark at 10.45am and walking to the church along the High Street to gather by the war memorial for 10.50 am. For those who prefer, they can sit inside the church and listen via the loudspeaker system to the first 10 minutes of the service when the names of the fallen are read out and the bugler plays the Last Post and we observe 2 minutes silence at 11am.
